OPEN POSITIONS
 
We are actively pursuing volunteers to fill the following positions for the term of January 1st, 2011 through December 31st, 2012. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Frank McNally at nnwpresident@comcast.net

Director, Baseball Operations
The powers and duties of the Director of Baseball Operations shall consist of, but not be limited to the following:
–Shall strive to maintain the highest standards possible for sportsmanship and fair play within the league including strict observations of the league rules and constitution
–Acting as chief of umpires for all leagues (including umpire selection and scheduling)
–Creation and coordination of all league schedules and necessary fields
–Management of the major league and minor league drafts
–Coordination of Fall ball
–May manage or coach in the League. However, shall exclude themselves from participation on any committee considering matters affecting a division in which they manage, coach, have an immediate family member participating or whenever a conflict of interest may reasonably arise
–Shall perform other such duties as from time to time may be assigned by the Board or delegated by the President
–Shall determine when games are to be cancelled and coordinate the scheduling of makeup games
–Shall elect and chair both the Rules and Protest Committees to hear and rule on protests emanating from season play

Director, Events & Activities
The powers and duties of the Activities Coordinator shall consist of, but not be limited to the following:
–Organizing and facilitating all league-related events including:
–opening day activities
–end-of-season activities
–awards nights
–team and individual picture days
–city event nights
–Rookie/T-ball Pizza Parties
–Major/Minor league banquets
–skills assessments
–Shall organize the team parents network and communicate the necessary information to the team parents
–Shall assist the Concession Stand Director in staffing the concession stand with team parents from each league level
–Shall undertake other duties as assigned by the President.
